I got one of these. It's better to drag one of these with you to a class than to drag another frickin Carbine as a backup. Why not store 99% of the parts you might need to fix an AR on the field in one of these. Sure you can store bolts and batteries in grip accessories, but I hate t he idea of putting more weight and flimsy doors on my Carbine. I didn't need the holster that the Tac-Pac came with, but I keep my Tac-Pac in my drag bag. Actually, I have 2 of them. One has the M4 gun parts and 2 -CR123 batteries and the other I used the blank insert the TP came with to customize it to hold 6 AA Batteries.

It is about time someone finally came up with an idea that really works!!!!
I used the M4 insert to carry spares for a class I was taking and during the class,a guy needed some gas rings. I couldn't believe this happened and I really couldn't believe that I had spares with me!!!! This thing organizes the spares I think I might need and still has room for 2 CR123 batteries for my Surefire!!!.
